Havva Gokce was born in May 1999 in Ardahan, Türkiye. Her interest in art developed at an early age and led her to Kocaeli Fine Arts High School. During her studies, she participated in numerous group exhibitions and held two solo exhibitions, graduating as the top student of her class.
She began her university education in the Department of Ceramics at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Anadolu University. Moving beyond her previous experiences, she developed a close relationship with ceramics and expanded her artistic practice through a new material and expressive language. In her final year of university in Türkiye, she transferred her studies to the United States, where she continues her education and artistic practice.
After holding two solo exhibitions in Türkiye, Gokce moved to the United States, where she participated in a group exhibition. On May 18, 2025, she presented her third solo exhibition in New York, titled “Lost Identity III,” as a continuation of “Lost Identity I” and “Lost Identity II.” Reflecting her personal journey and inner world, this series represents a process of continuity and deepening within her artistic language.
Havva Gokce focuses on exploring the relationship between material, form, and emotion. Through ongoing experimentation, she develops a distinctive visual language that expresses her inner world. She currently continues her art education and practice in New York.
She is open to collaborations and new projects, and welcomes inquiries for exhibitions and creative partnerships.
